The marina’s 135 berths accommodate mono-hull and multi-hull vessels, including superyachts, up to 50 metres in length.

It is a requirement of the marina that all vessels provide current insurance details prior to arrival, and berthing subject to adherence with the Marina Rules.

Location

Set in an idyllic position and surrounded by the spectacular mountain ranges of the Atherton Tablelands and Daintree Rainforest, the marina is just a short walk from Port Douglas’ famous Macrossan Street, which hosts a multitude of popular boutiques, bars and restaurants, as well as pristine Four Mile Beach.

The marina sits within a sheltered position on the well-marked Dickson Inlet, and is protected from waves, swell and prevailing south-east winds.

Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina is 31 nautical miles north-west of Cairns Harbour and 62 nautical miles south of Cooktown, located at 16 29’06″S and 145 27’33″E. The relevant charts are AUS 270 and AUS 830.

The inlet channel was dredged in 2018 to a depth of 2.4 meters (LAT) and the marina to maximum 2.5 meters (LAT).

Superyachts

The superyacht expansion was opened by the Hon. Warren Entsch MP in August 2015. 20 superyacht berths accommodate vessels to 50 metres length.

Superyacht berths are heavy duty concrete construction and equipped with three-phase power (up to 2 x 64 amps), potable water and fire services. The marina is protected by CCTV, electronic access gates and security patrols. The superyacht refuelling berth supplies competitively priced high-flow diesel at 250 litres per minute.
